Hello, i just noticed that when i download an app through the App Store on my iPhone, the app i downloaded does not appear on my home screen or in the App Library. is there any work around for me to make them appear at least in the App Library? the only way to open or to place an app on my home screen I downloaded after upgrading to iOS 18.4 Beta 3 is to search for it in Spotlight or in the App Store. Any apps I downloaded before upgrading to iOS 18.4 Beta 3 is still on my home screen or in the App Library. i am currently running iOS 18.4 Beta 3 on an iPhone 16 Pro

The iPhone mobile data usage skyrocketed to use 1GB per day whereas I am normally a 5GB a month data user. the culprit was Apple System Services General there is currently no iPhone functionality to turn off System Services Genera. the solution was to block updates.cdn-apple.com using data sniffer called Proxyman. I discovered an issue where older Intel Macs (like my 2017 MacBook) enrolled in the macOS Sequoia Public Beta do not receive Ventura security updates, even though Sequoia is not compatible with the hardware. My system said “macOS is up to date” while stuck on Ventura 13.7.1, but after switching to the Ventura Public Beta channel, it immediately showed a new update available. This seems like a serious flaw—Apple should warn users or fall back to compatible OS versions when an enrolled beta is unsupported. Has anyone else experienced this? Could be a widespread issue for Intel Mac users still relying on Ventura.

Maybe a bit of a simplistic question, but…. Best ways to create music - programmatically - within an app? I have a few small, simple games that I would like to add some background music to. I’ve fiddled with AVAudio, SKAudio, and now AudioKit. I’m just not quite finding the holy grail of music generation. I don’t know if it’s more technique or tool. Hi everyone, After updating to iOS 26 Developer Preview on my iPhone, I’m experiencing a repeated issue with certain third-party apps. ⸻ -Issue details: • The apps open as if freshly installed, showing the onboarding or login screen each time • User session is completely lost (no saved login or data) • Around 10 seconds after launch, the app automatically closes • It disappears from the app switcher (not just backgrounded) • This happens every time, with no crash message or error shown ⸻ -What I’ve tried: • Reinstalled the apps • Restarted the device • Toggled Face ID, Background App Refresh, etc. • Confirmed I’m running the latest iOS 26 Developer Preview build ➡️ Problem still occurs exactly the same way ⸻ -Feedback status: I submitted a report via Feedback Assistant with a screen recording and full reproduction steps. Hi, I have a question related to eligibility. If we consider the eligibility rules and the submission window doesn't change for next year and if the challenge is still happening, would I be eligible in the following scenario - I graduated from an American University for my undergraduate in December 2025, and the submission is in February 2026, according to "Be enrolled in, or have graduated within the last 90 days from, an accredited academic institution or official homeschool equivalent, or an Apple Developer Academy", am I eligible. I am not sure if it applies to university or just high school. If you don't want to answer the hypothetical answer for next year. Take this scanerio, would I have been eligible for this year's challenge if I had graduated from university in December 2024. Thank you

Whenever I attempt to launch Finder, WindowServer immediately aborts and the machine reboots. I want to implement a feature where a custom notification sound file is downloaded from the server when the app is first launched and stored locally on the device. When a push notification arrives, the stored sound should be played in all app states, including foreground, background, and terminated (killed) state. Does anyone have an idea on how to implement this in iOS? Specifically, I am looking for guidance on: 1)Downloading and storing the sound file securely on the device. 2)Using the locally stored file for push notification sounds. 3)Ensuring the sound plays correctly in all states, including when the app is not running.

After connecting to a Passpoint network on macOS, the SSID field is displayed as empty. Bugs ? Passpoint connections are established and function correctly, with network communication unimpeded. However, a display issue where the SSID field is blank is present on macOS versions 13 through 15 inclusive. This issue persists even when utilizing connection profiles created with Apple Configurator. Help me. Thks

Installed the iOS 26 Beta on my iPhone 13 Pro last night, hated it. I wasn't aware that there is a supported way of restoring back to iOS18.5, so I (foolishly) opted to flash the iOS18.5 ispw file onto my device using a 3rd party tool. Now, my device is stuck in a state between. Unable to flash, unable to use itunes to restore, randomly gives error codes during restoration attempts. Worries my device may be lost permanently! Please advise.

Under multiple display screens (left and right screens), when a commonly used app application clicks "Window" -> "Move to..." When it comes to this, the app cannot be completely moved to the other window but instead moves to the middle of the two Windows for display. Is this a bug of the system?

However, the problem was that I couldn't log in to Feedback. So the problem kept repeating. Apple didn't receive any feedback, so Apple thought this was the most successful version in the history of iOS because it didn't receive any feedback.
