Whenever I attempt to launch Finder, WindowServer immediately aborts and the machine reboots. We are using camera , location, calendar , push notification with firebase. How to resolve it?

calling this app store connect API returns 201 created but does not clear purchase history for sandbox account

Upgraded my M1 Mac mini from MacOS Tahoe 26 Beta to Beta 2. Prior to the update I had no problem connecting to the Max mini from my MacBook Pro M2 running Now, attempting to connect to the Mac mini from a MacBook Pro M2 running Sequoia 15.5. After the update, I can enter my password, but then I am disconnected with the error "This Mac was unable to start a High Performance connection to the Mac mini" and to "change the screen sharing type to standard and try again" Connecting via a "Standard" connection showed that the Window Server failed.

I have an idea for an app for awhile (5+ years) and it took awhile (a year or more to figure out how to develop on - I know C/C++/FORTRAN, started in the punch card era). I ended up using the MacBook I had, some books and chatGPT and plunged into development. BTW this was all happening while I'm retired, included moving to FL from MD. There are times where development stops for months at a time, I've started and stopped at least four or five times on different portions of the project. I've realized that I can actually skip the user interface until the end if ever. At the beginning of code development, I did little more that "Hello world" programs to get my feet wet. Golf, pickleball, doctor appointments, etc. interrupts development. When I get back to it, my code has "disappeared", I open Xcode, open the project and I don't see any of my code - where did it go? I did find the code using the Finder in Directory/projname/projname/ContentView.swift (I'm not sure why projname is duplicated, no doubt my ignorance!) - so the code is still present, somewhere!

The latest Beta update 18.5.4 has caused connectivity problems with my car (Skoda Enyaq) whereby there is no connection via Bluetooth or the cars internal WiFi. Also contacts will not download to the care which is very frustrating.

Hey guys, I've been searching high and low for some clarity when it comes to this topic. Essentially, what is the legality/risk of using apple music previews in my app. Does Apple license the previews meaning they are fair to use as long as I link to that URL? Do i need to license every song individually? I can not find anything concrete out and while the apple team let my app (that currently plays preview urls) on the app store I know that doesn't necessarily legally cover me. Any input is appreciated, i know this is a pretty niche area.

After upgrading to iOS system 26, the local name broadcast type is 08, but before upgrading, it is 09 and will be included in the scan resp message; In version 26, the scan resp will also include Manufacturer Specific Data. Before the upgrade, the broadcast message may not necessarily include Manufacturer Specific Data; What I want to ask is, are there any restrictions on Bluetooth broadcasting in version 26? Is it necessary to include Manufacturer Specific Data data? If Manufacturer Specific Data data is included, it may cause fields in the local name broadcast to be truncated and use simple names of type 08

When changing the app's alternate icon using UIApplication.setAlternateIconName(_:completionHandler:), the icon is updated correctly on the Home Screen and App Switcher. However, in Notification Center, the old app icon is still shown for notifications, even after the change has completed. Rebooting or change the device's language causes the correct icon to appear. This issue only occurs on iOS 18.1 and later. In iOS 18.0 and earlier, Notification Center correctly reflects the updated icon. Could you provide insights into how iOS caches notification icons and how we can force a refresh for all users?

In most cases, when we install the app directly from the App Store (without VPN), it works fine. However, the problem occurs when downloading the app through the App Store while connected via VPN. We submitted our Apple Developer Program enrollment nearly three months ago, and the status has remained “In Review” ever since. We've contacted Apple Support several times by email, but all the responses have been generic – simply stating that the application is still under review, with no indication of what's causing the delay. To clarify: Our company is legally registered in Saint Vincent, but our development operations and team are based in the Philippines, which is also where the enrollment was submitted. We have no unresolved communications or pending documentation requests from Apple. This extended delay is starting to affect our business operations. Has anyone else experienced such a long review time? Were you able to escalate the issue successfully or get a more specific response from Apple? Any tips or insights would be greatly appreciated. my app was kicked off the App Store because it needed updating. i have now done that and it is ready for TestFlight. before I uploaded it, I had look around the App Store to see if there were any similar apps and I found one which just looks like it’s pinched the ideas about how it works-it’s uniqueness claiming to be the first of its kind and who it is aimed at Its not exactly the sameseems silly similar to mine as I was reading the text seemed similar to mine. it’s not exactly the same but the principle of it the idea of the way it works is definitely the same as mine. I couldn’t look at the code because it didn’t seem to be open source software databases. it is not free to download but I didn’t want to buy it. Is there a way of finding out more about its. Function and ti see / compare the code to see if there is infringement or a violation.

How did my contacts suddenly end up on iCloud when I didn't give permission to do such? Where is your security and privacy commitment for your own software, Apple? No wonder celebrities get hacked. They hack 1, and then you get a list of phone numbers and emails for a whole bunch of other A-listers.

There appears to be a bug or a hidden feature where after sending a message in Messages and you hover over or touch near the back button in the top left, voice memo activates and starts recording. This is an unexpected behavior and it has been an issue going back several iOS releases to the current release. This has happened on various phone models, so it isn't limited to a specific model. In addition, (and yes, this does add a second bug/issue) there is a hidden feature where touching in the top left of a message thread, above the back button, causes the focus of the message thread to jump back to some texts/messages from an earlier time. This is unexpected and seems like it should be addressed.

Hi Everybody knows about how this kind of files works. My issue is about trying to load data from these files to a HTML page. Everything works, I can read and use this data on my project however the records I have in Numbers, text where there are commas for punctuation, will be separated when this file is loaded. The comma is breaking the records, I know this is a CSV file but is there a way to set semicolon as delimiter on Mac or Numbers to be able to use the comma in my records without any issue? Also could be another symbol, but definitely I need the commas. thank you!

I tried to configure the SMTP of iCloud custom email according to Apple's document (https://support.apple.com/en-us/102525) but the error I looked through Apple's support file, but I didn't find the specific configuration of iCloud + customised email SMTP.
